Nick Aspinall - Managing Partner

• Nick has been involved in retailing since 1973.  He has worked in buying, merchandising and financial management, including 3 years with Debenhams.  He has worked in retail consultancy since 1980

• He set up ORC in 1990 and is the company’s founder and Managing Partner

• Nick has developed a number of products, notably the Retail Sales and Profit Model, aimed primarily at the company’s retail property investor clients, who look to the company to provide them with a better understanding of the economics and dynamics of retailing

• Aside from Nick’s UK experience, he has also worked in Eire, Russia, France, Belgium, Norway, Sweden, Denmark and Spain for retailers, retail property investors and local authorities

Vera Aspinall - Partner

• Vera is a non-executive partner in The ORC Partnership and a director of each subsidiary company.  She has been a partner or director of every business venture with Nick since 1984

Sue Browne - Project Team Manager

• Sue joined us in 2002 after finishing a Masters in GIS at UCL.  She previously worked for Bartholemews as a database administrator and the Ministry of Defence as a cartographer after gaining a BSc in Geography from Southampton University

• Since joining ORC Sue has managed a variety of projects using the RSPM, including studies of the performance of furniture stores in Sweden, department stores, shopping centres, town centres, retail parks and foodstores across the UK. Sue now manages the project team.

Jo Reynolds - Senior Project Co-ordinator

• Jo joined ORC in 2002 following several years managerial experience at a major financial institution.  She graduated with a 2:1 Geography and GIS degree in 1998 from Staffordshire University

Rob Wilkinson - Senior Project Co-ordinator

• After studying for a BSc in Geography at Huddersfield University, Rob went on to study for a MPhil in Geomatics at Newcastle upon Tyne.  He was previously employed in land surveying and most recently as a GE Smallworld Network Inventory Consultant for a telecommunications consultancy.  Rob joined us in 2002

• Rebecca graduated in 2004 from Oxford Brookes University with a degree in GIS and Cartography. Rebecca also joined us August 2004.

Paul McColgan - Project Co-ordinator

• After gaining BA (Hons) in Geography and Media at Leeds University, Paul began his working life as a corporate sales consultant for a healthcare company in Glasgow. He then returned to Leeds to study for his MSc in Geographical Information Systems for Business and Service Planning. Paul joined the ORC Partnership in September 2005
